Rooms are large , extremely clean and set up in a way that shows a lot of care is taken. Food is excellent both the afternoon tea and breakfasts were some of the best we have had , all delivered with excellent service and presented in a way that screamed care .. one of the beat weekend stays we have had and we will return . in fact 5 stars just isn't high enough .....
It's just a magic place to stay and relax. Peace and quiet with stunning surroundings and it backs on to Beatrix Potter's hilltop house. This is a hidden julep and owner, David goes to great lengths to ensure your stay is perfect.
Just spent a few days with my mother at this beautiful country house hotel, in such a peaceful setting a stone’s throw from Hill Top in the heart of National Trust farmland. David the owner and host could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our rooms were immaculate with lovely attention to detail and gorgeous far reaching views. Lovely breakfast and afternoon tea too Thank you David for looking after us.

Our second visit to Sawry House,gorgeous hotel in a fabulous location ! Peace and quite ,just sheep bleating in the background. Exactly what we wanted. Spotlessly clean room & spacious! Comfy bed. Lovely linen. the owner is very helpful & knowledgeable of the area . In in all fabulous!! Highly recommend. Hope to return again.
